Want to Make a Change in Your life? Take this Six Weeks Course

I took this six weeks course in Feb called Positive Intelligence (PQ) by Shirzad Chamine and it was life changing. I am skeptical of almost all training out there. They are usually too basic, too theoretical, or too temporary in its impact on my life. This course was different. My Results from Taking the Course

I am able to achieve more and take more risks with less stress and worry. I have more joy and curiosity in exploring new possibilities and in navigating unexpected bump along the road.

  • I am able to better deal with a difficult co-worker – let’s just say he always come across critical and I don’t think he even realizes it. I am able to now breathe and not get triggered by his words.
  • I am able to recover faster from a fight with hubby. Even hubby noticed and mentioned it to me. A fight that usually would last 24 hours was resolved between us in an hour. I call that huge progress! 🙂
  • I am able speak to my dad without turning into a “14 year old”, always seeking approval or feeling need to defend myself. This is still a work in progress but I am amazed to make any progress at all in this area.
  • I am able to stress less and sleep more soundly. I am learning everyday to love and accept myself, others, and the circumstances around me as is. It’s freeing to be able to just explore and be curious about what can happen next instead of worry about whether what’s next will be perfect or not.
  • Lastly, I know now how to choose to be happy without tying it to the next achievement. I already knew this concept a few years ago but had a hard time putting it into practice. It’s just not how I am wired. I have been wired for decades to only feel “happy” when I achieved something. Now, I can just be happy, even when I have a “bad” day or things don’t work out the way I wanted. This is very freeing and is giving me more energy to achieve more in life and be happy.

Needless to say, I am happy with my results, which is why I am recommending this course to you. I think of it as JEDI mind training. I need to continue to apply what I learned to keep progressing toward Black Belt. This six weeks course was great intense training to uncover my blind spot and open us a new world of possibilities. What’s included with the course

Shirzad anticipated that all the students would take a little while to understand all the concepts. Thus, there is a PQ mobile app to facilitate learning and building of the mental fitness daily throughout the six weeks. Teachings are time released so it isn’t overwhelming. It’s only 3 hours a week for six weeks, and it is all broken out into very digestible pieces.

  • Weekly videos – 1 hour broken into 3-10 min sections. It is time released inside the app each week
  • Weekly pod meetings – 45 min – A pod of up to 5 students are formed at the beginning. These are invaluable for mutual accountability, confidentiality and reinforced the learnings that week.
  • Daily exercises 15 min – all in 2-3 min increments. The app sends push notifications. We can all find time to take a 2-3 min break through the day to practice. Then the insight can be applied right away in the next few hours.
  • Community chat feature inside the app – Students can chat confidentially with their own pod privately, chat with support anytime, and also post anything to the large group of student who all start the course on the same day around the world.

In each weekly video in the course, Shirzad always addresses frequently asked questions. Many of the skeptical questions I had were addressed right around the week I had them.

I was pleasantly surprised how engaging the weekly videos were along with the daily practice (here is a screenshot of day 6). The achiever in me really liked that everything is also tracked and tallied in the mobile app. I can always see my progress.
